The Office Baby

Damn. The Office just isn't what it used to be. The past few episodes have been good enough to give me hope that maybe the show was on the rebound. But tonight sent it back down a couple of notches.

Jim and Pam had their baby. I was confident this would be fodder for good material. It was entertaining enough, but I only laughed once. Once. I've become invested enough in these characters that I can enjoy the show even if I don't laugh. But I found myself disappointed at the end.

The Office used to safely be in my top two or three comedies. It certainly isn't anymore. I still watch. But dang.

Maybe I laughed twice. I don't really remember.

  3. This show has jumped the shark, or is very close to doing so. Anytime the main characters on a show get "serious," the show goes downhill. See, Frasier and Friends for two easy examples. Seinfeld did it right; no serious relationships between the main characters.

  4. Justin Greenfield and "Culture Tilt" you are wrong, wrong, WRONG!

    Haters.
